Four times a year, Lichess hosts a 24h marathon event with varying time controls, with the top players obtaining a unique trophy displayed on their user profile. These events have taken place since the summer of 2015, and numerous events have been won by Lichess veteran LM Lance5500. In total there have now been 23 seasonal marathons, with 157K unique players taking part in one or more of these events.
The marathons are included in the rankings (see the overall rankings here), and for completeness all events are listed below in chronological order, with the most recent events first. |
